The Cartier Santos watch is one of the classic models of the renowned Swiss luxury brand Cartier, with a history dating back to the early 20th century. The birth of the Santos watch is closely associated with the Brazilian aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont. He needed a timepiece that could be read without having to let go of the flight controls while flying, so his friend Louis Cartier designed this wristwatch for him in 1904, marking it as the world’s first wristwatch specifically designed for men.

The Santos watch features a distinctive design, including a square case, Roman numeral hour markers, and a railway minute track, which together create a style that is both dynamic and elegant. In 1978, Cartier redesigned the Santos series, introducing versions with stainless steel cases and bracelets, expanding the Santos from a pure precious metal watch to a more accessible domain. In 2018, Cartier once again deeply revamped the Santos series, introducing the new Santos de Cartier. This model is more contemporary in design while retaining the classic elements of the Santos series. The Santos de Cartier collection offers a variety of sizes and materials, including stainless steel, gold, rose gold, and diamond settings, catering to the needs of different consumers.
